Theater of Blood (1973)
Shakespearean actor Edward Lionheart (Vincent Price) has just been denied the prestigious London Theater's Critic Award. Lionheart confronts the Critics Circle and after a steamed argument leaps off a window to his certain death but is saved when he lands on a group of homeless people below. Now presumed dead, Lionheart decides to kill his critics one by one, a mission he carries out with gusto and imagination drawing inspiration from Shakesperean plays. It is said that this was one of Vincent Price's favorite roles and it shows in the enthusiastic and memorable performance he gives.
