The Stranger (1946)
Mr. Wilson (Edward G. Robinson) of the War Crimes Commission is assigned the task of tracking down Franz Kindler (Orson Welles), the devilish mind behind the Holocaust. But Kindler has completely erased his identity and only one man knows what he looks like. Wilson releases from prison the man who knows Kindler's face, and follows him to Connecticut. There, Wilson discovers the man he used to track Kindler dead. It's up to Wilson now figure out Kindler’s new identity and make him pay for the atrocities of his past.
