Sherlock Holmes - Secret Weapon (1942)
The astute Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) travels to Switzerland to rescue bomb invetor Dr. Franz Tobel (William Post Jr.) bofore Nazi secret agents can get their hands on him and his covetted designs. Unable to take Tobel from Holmes, the evil Professor Moriarty (Lionel Atwill) is hired to champion the Nazi cause. Back in London, Tobel dissapears from Holmes' custody leaving only an envolope and scarce clues to his whereabouts. Now Holmes must find the professor before Moriarty does and the plans for the destructive device fall on Nazi hands. One of the best Sherlock Holmes films of the series.
