The black arts cult Ubasti believes that Egyptian princess Nadji (Maria Alba) is a reincarnation of their long-dead goddess, Ossana, so they decide they will sacrifice her at their altar. Not if Chandu (Bela Lugosi) has anything to say about it. He knows a thing or two about the black arts also, you know. If only he can find his way out of the labyrinthine cavern that renders his magic powerless. "The Return of Chandu" was originally a 12 piece serial released in the early 1930s.
