The Monster From a Prehistoric Planet (1967)
A japanese expedition to a South Pacific island uncovers the worship of a deity called Gappa
by the natives. When they find a mysterious giant egg, they are warned to leave it alone. Instead,
the egg is taken to a museum in Japan. Now mother and father Gappa have come to reclaim their
young and leave the city in ruins.

Trivia:
Originally released in Japan as "Daikyoju Gappa".
Early English dubbings of the film included the rascist line, "The monsters are attacking Tokyo. Fortunately they are attacking the negro section of town."
This was changed after numerous complaints.
