The Human Monster (1940)
At first glance Dr. Orloff (Bela Lugosi) appears to be a gentle and kind-hearted physician having endowed the Dearborn Institute for the Blind , where he is the on-call doctor, with the necessary funds to keep afloat. But lately many of its patients have turned up dead and all of them name Dr. Orloff at the beneficiary of their death insurance policies. Scotland Yard Ispector Holt (Hugh Williams) decides to get to solve the case and find out exactly what is the connection between Dr. Orloff and the sudden deaths at the institute.
