Danny convinces Mugs to enter the Civilian Conservation Corps. so that Muggs can sharpen his boxing skills. Mugs loses a bout, is accused of theft and needs hs buddy Danny to straighten things out. This is Director Joseph H. Lewis' first film. later, he went on to become one of the leading B Movie directors of the 40's and 50's.
