Danny Berslin is good but misunderstood kid in danger of getting swayed by the wrong influences. Two bit crook Monk Martin (Bobby Stone) is been seen hanging around Danny as of late and that can only mean bad news. This leads to his disqualification from the upcoming Golden Gloves championship. It's a good thing that pal Mugs (Leo Gorcey) is willing to enter the tournament in Danny's place.
